A 20 piece string group plays classical music between metro lines at Chatelet. The talent of Paris street musicians made DC look pretty bad!

During the last light show of the night, only the strobes were flashing, so you just get an outline. We had to walk back about 5km due to poor planning -- missed the last metro!

View from Le Meridien in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Not only was it a night in Monte Carlo, it was a night at the only hotel with a private beach . . . and then we were given a free upgrade to a top floor suite . . . and Sarah won 50 EUROS at the casino!!
