Hayden Falls in Columbus, Ohio
Relatively little known and somewhat difficult to find, Hayden Falls is a real treat. This shot was taken during a period of very high water for the creek/falls after a snow melt in early March. Growing up, the only way to get to the falls was to find your way down a steep dirt foot path. Recently, the parks service has added a staircase down to the creek, complete with a boardwalk close to the falls.Light at the End of the Tunnel
Well, it is a church, so there has to be something religious about the tunneled vision as you look from the rear of the building. The most beautiful cathedral I have seen to date, and a stunning example of the grandioso architecture and attention to detail given to Catholic places of worship during the 19th century.Snow, Water, and Ice
The phases of water were present in full glory after what was to be the first of two snowstorms all winter here. It was extremely cold, at just above ten degrees Fahrenheit, and I was just able to shoot one roll of this lovely little woodland area before packing it in for the day.
