White-throated Sparrow: Dinner. Cincinnati, OH
Tufted Titmouse from Burnet Woods, Cincinnati, OH One of the first bird shots that I actually liked. The Titmice are common, but always a welcome visitor.
Song Sparrow from Oxbow Nature Preserve, Lawrenceburg, IN One from my first trip to the Oxbow Nature Preserve, a rather large expanse of wetland preserved by a private group at the mouth of the Great Miami River; it intersects the Ohio River here, and creates a large, marshy area perfect for migrating and resident waterfowl. Of course, the wheat fields bordering it are a nice habitat for these rather common little sparrows.
