Northern Flicker Continually mocking me with the laughter-type call over the past year, the Northern Flicker has alluded me for quite a while. I still didn't get the shot I wanted, but at least this will tide me through until the next time.
Gray Catbird Showing the year-round plumage in September. The Catbird has always been fascinating, hiding in dense covering whilst barking out the whining 'cat' like hyeww call.
